Job Summary:
The Logistics Data Analyst Manager is responsible for analyzing logistics and supply chain data to generate actionable insights, improve operational efficiency, and support data-driven decision making. The role involves managing analytics activities, leading a data analyst team, and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to optimize logistics performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, clean, validate, and analyze logistics and supply chain data
- Analyze transportation costs, delivery performance, inventory movement, and warehouse efficiency
- Develop, maintain, and improve dashboards, KPIs, and performance reports
- Provide trend analysis, forecasting, and recommendations for process improvement
- Prepare MIS reports and presentations for senior management
- Collaborate with Operations, Warehouse, Procurement, and Finance teams
- Ensure data accuracy, data governance, and compliance with internal standards
- Lead, mentor, and manage the logistics data analyst team
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization using analytics tools
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel
- Experience with Power BI / Tableau or similar BI tools
- Working knowledge of SQL (preferred)
- Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain processes
- Forecasting and statistical analysis skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Analyze end-to-end logistics data including pickup, line haul, delivery, RTO, SLA, and cost metrics
- Develop dashboards and reports for KPIs such as TAT, delivery success rate, RTO %, first attempt delivery, and OTP failures.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Statistics, Data Analytics, or related field
- Master’s Degree (MBA / Data Analytics / Supply Chain) preferred.
